Our Little Artist

These are a few pictures from Lorin at school today. What is most hilarious about them to me is that all the other kids hardly have any paint on them at all (I decided not to post the entire classes photos). They neatly placed their hands on the paper and scribbled with the paint. Lorin on the other hand was not only messy, but she also decided to taste the paint. (It's non-toxic of course!) We love Privette School and Lorin's teachers!

She is really concentrating. I think she is painting a family portrait!

Lorin and sweet Savannah!

I hope she is not trying to steal ideas from Savannah's work. We don't need a little cheater on our hands!!!

I'm not sure she liked the taste of the green paint (maybe the red would have tasted better)

9 Month Checkup

Lorin's 9 month checkup went great. She weighed 25lbs (95%) and was 29 inches in length (97%). We were definitely concerned about her weight, but Dr. Smith said everything was perfect, and that she was just that kind of baby we love to squeeze! Dr. Smith also commented that she definitely had the thighs to support her when she does start walking. Ha ha! She can now start eating some table food, so I guess that means I need to start cooking dinner.

Here is our 25 pounder. Notice she has cleared the coffee table. That is her new favorite pasttime!
