Memorial Day Weekend

We had a great holiday weekend with family! On Saturday, we finally bought a new car (Yea!!) then headed to Hattiesburg to spend the day with Meme and Paw. Unfortunately, we missed Meme's run, but she had a great weekend. On Sunday, Lorin played and swam and Morgan's house. She had a blast and loves playing with all of Morgan's stuff (especially harrassing their sweet little dog Ruben.. I'll try to get some pictures from Shelby to post). Then Sunday night we had dinner with Bon Papa, Momama, Uncle Bo, Aunt Laura, Lucy and Charles. Lorin had a blast playing and showing out for everyone. On Monday, Lorin played in her pool on the deck. The water was a little chilly, so she never would sit down.

Christmas in May

We had Christmas at Granny's house on Mother's Day. We all had a wonderful time and are so glad that Granny is doing so much better! Thanks to Granny and Aunt Madeline for hosting such a special Christmas/Mother's Day!!!

We had a wonderful Easter in Memphis with my sister and her family. Lorin just loves her cousins!!!

Pedicure

I stayed at home with Lorin today, and we had a blast. I was painting my toenails, and she insisted that I do hers as well. Here are some pictures of her very first pedicure! (Sorry the first one is a little blurry).

13 Months Old

Here are a few random pictures of Lorin over the last few weeks. She is 13 months old now and walking all over the place. Needless to say, we have lots of bumps and bruises. She is starting to say more words every day, but she rarely ever repeats. Her favorite word by far is Da Da! She also says moma, bys (for Byson), pup pup (bedtime buddy), shoe, shirt, sock, hey, bye bye, close, ball, dog, juice, duck, go, & blue.

She loves her bunny rabbit from Aunt Liz and Uncle Robert. She walks around the house holding it and giving it hugs all the time. She has always had a special place in her heart for bunnies! "I am a Bunny" is her favorite book.

Maybe she will be a better cook than her moma!

Unfortunately, we have taught Lorin how to growl! It started out during Halloween because we originally bought her a lion outfit. She now loves to growl!!
