Happy Birthday Travis!

Today is Travis' 31st Birthday! Happy Birthday Daddy. We love you!!!!

July 4th

We went to the fair cabin in Philadelphia this year for the 4th of July. We were all planning to meet there and clean up for the Neshoba County Fair which starts in 3 weeks. Well everyone had most everything finished when we got there, so Lorin was just able to play with her cousins. We went down to the midway where they had a huge homemade water slide on the big hill. Mary Chandler had a blast going down it. Unfortunately the batteries in my camera died so I didn't get any pictures.

4 Month Appointment

Lorin had her 4 month appointment last week. She weighed 17 lbs. 14 oz., which put her off the charts in percentiles. She was 25 1/2 inches long which was at the very top of the charts. Dr. Smith did reassure us that her growing would start to slow down. I was relieved because she is already in 12 month clothes! I would hate to be buying my 5 month old 2T's. Her check up went great and she handled the shots as best as could be expected.

This weekend my sister and her 2 girls came to visit. We went to the pool on Saturday and had a blast. Lorin loved playing with her 2 sweet cousins.

Happy Father's Day

We had a wonderful first Father's Day. We were able to spend time with Paw (Leslie's Dad) and Bonne Papa (Travis' Dad). Lorin is such a daddy's girl. She just loves playing with Travis so much!!

New Toys

We have some new toys and she loves playing with them! I was shocked that she was able to grab some of them the first time.

Lorin's Baptism, May 24, 2009

Lorin was baptized on Sunday, May 24th at Christ United Methodist Church by Reverend Ricky James in Jackson. We had a wonderful day with many family and friends. As you scroll through the photos you will noticed that we only have one picture at the church. That is because Lorin pitched the biggest fit of her life. She was bucking in my arms and her face was beet red when I had to hand her to Ricky. Travis and I were doing all we could not to burst out laughing. I mean what can you do. I was just sad that the 2,000 people watching probably think she is a bad baby. As my friend Amanda put it "she is already a scene stealer"! I'm sure this won't be the last time she embarrasses her parents.
